About the Role
The Website Content & Copywriting Team Lead will manage a team of three while overseeing website content, product presentation and copywriting. Working closely with the Webdata and Buying teams the role will ensure content is accurate, engaging, SEO-optimised and adheres to existing brand guidelines. The role will also oversee the workflow and delivery of the company's 300-page annual toy catalogue, ensuring weekly targets and deadlines are achieved.
Salary: €44,000
Responsibilities

Manage and support a team of 3-4 people, including workload planning, prioritisation, performance support and day-to-day guidance.

Oversee the creation, editing and management of website product content, ensuring products are presented in the best possible way.

Ensure product descriptions, features, imagery and video content effectively showcase products and enhance their online presentation.

Ensure all website and catalogue content is accurate, consistent, SEO-optimised and aligned with existing brand guidelines and tone.

Work closely with Webdata and Buying teams to ensure product information is complete and presented to a high standard.

Oversee the catalogue content workflow, allocating work effectively, monitoring and achieving weekly targets and deadlines.

Coordinate proofreading and review processes to maintain accuracy, quality and consistency.

Liaise with Group Team Leads to ensure consistency in content, processes and standards across teams as required.

Manage competing priorities and ensure content requests are delivered within agreed timescales.

Prepare weekly reports covering team progress, workload, targets and key deliverables.
The Ideal Candidate
Essential Criteria

Experience managing, supervising or mentoring team members, with the ability to manage workloads, priorities and performance.

Strong organisation and workflow management skills, with experience managing deadlines and weekly targets.
-
Experience coordinating high-volume content work and ensuring work is delivered accurately and on time.

2+ years experience in copywriting, website content or a similar role.

Strong copywriting, editing and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail.
-
Ability to ensure content adheres to brand guidelines, tone and quality standards.

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and Group Team Leads.

Ability to prepare and communicate weekly progress reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Desirable

Retail or e-commerce experience.

Experience with website platforms.

Understanding of SEO and website content optimisation.

Experience with video or digital product content.

Experience managing catalogue or high-volume content workflows.
