About the Role
We are recruiting a Marketing Executive to join our dynamic Marketing team in our Head Office in Galway. The successful candidate will be involved in creating & completing supplier marketing promotional plans, product & lifestyle photoshoots throughout the year, along with production and proofing of toy & baby catalogues, and report directly to the Heads of Marketing.
Salary: €35-€40k DOE
Your Responsibilities as a Marketing Executive:
- Leading the project team for the 6m+ print run of our Autumn Winter toy catalogue 300+ pages for a key period of March to August each year.
- Managing three other members of the catalogue team and their workload and deadlines.
- Working with the Buying team, Buying Management team, key suppliers, design company & Head of Marketing on the briefing, supply and approval of all artwork and copy of the toy & baby catalogues.
- Meeting key deadlines for each catalogue category and the overall deadline.
- Working with the Heads of Marketing on the approval of the overall catalogues.
- Organising and managing toy & baby catalogue photoshoots
- Managing catalogue distribution via printers, mailing houses, logistics for UK & Ireland, meeting deadlines etc.
Baby
- Working with the Head of Marketing as support with Baby Buying team and suppliers.
- Maintaining tone of voice, look and feel for all elements of the marketing mix, working on key baby events/promotions throughout the year.
- Working on design and approval for the baby catalogue and photoshoots.
General
- General support to Heads of Marketing on new projects.
- General toy/baby photoshoots during the year, improving the process and quality of images. Adhering to GDPR at all times
- Ad hoc duties as required.
About you & Key skills
- The successful candidate must have a third level degree in a related field such as Business, Marketing, Multi-Media or Communications.
- Minimum 3-4 years business to consumer experience in the retail sector is an advantage.
- Good oral & written communication
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- The ability to plan, organise and meet deadlines is crucial in this fast paced organisation.
- Possess good interpersonal and strong communication skills.
- The candidate must be able to work as part of the wider marketing team, and broader team within the business, with our suppliers and also be capable of working independently and on their own initiative.
- Good computer skills with high level of competency in all Microsoft
- Office packages, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint, a prerequisite.
