About the role:

We are looking for an Accounts Administrator to join our growing team. As an Accounts Administrator, you will be exposed to a variety of duties within the Accounts Department including Data Inputting, Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and general administrative duties.

Our headquarters in Galway has over 200 employees, with additional offices in Lille and Cologne. We operate over 280 physical retail stores in Ireland, the UK, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands, together with a substantial on-line business in each country.

This role is located at our Head Office in Galway.

Salary: €27,000 - €32,000 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Finance, key responsibilities will include:

  • Accurate data inputting into appropriate financial systems
  • General finance administration including:
  • Invoice processing
  • Creditor, bank and nominal ledger reconciliations
  • weekly and monthly financial reporting
  • Financial Data Analysis / KPI Reporting
  • Any other ad hoc assignments as assigned by management

The candidate will have:

  • Relevant third level qualification - Desired, but not essential 
  • Previous experience in an ‘Accounts’ environment is an advantage
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Proficient in full Microsoft package, especially Excel
  • SAP experience is an advantage
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be highly numerate and process focused
